Find the real problems with your site and brand. One URL, one keyword, and you get the full report and then talk to a real person about it: 1-323-505-6622

  • We believe in the best Traffic is Free Traffic. Custom tailored search marketing plans to fit your company — not a template.
  • Every line the card grades has a service behind it — SEO, local, ecommerce, paid, reputation, video, training and development.
  • The people you talk to are the people who do the work. “Your Success, means Our Success.”

Your card carries one overall grade and six scored lines. Every one of them is empty on this page, because your site has not been tested yet.

CARD 01The grading scale

Five grades. One of them is yours — after we look.

This is the scale your card is marked against, written in plain English so you can read your own result without an SEO dictionary. It is a rubric, not a result: nobody is graded on this page.

A90–100
FoundYou rank for the terms that matter, your map listing is complete and correct, and the code is not fighting you. The work here is holding the position.
B75–89
CloseA short list of fixable problems sits between you and page one. Usually on-page structure and a few inconsistent listings.
C60–74
AverageYou look like everyone else in your market. Nothing is broken, nothing stands out, and in local search that means the map pack decides for you.
D40–59
Losing groundCompetitors’ websites and directory sites are ranking ahead of you for your own business name and your own services.
FUNDER 40
InvisibleNothing on the page tells a search engine what you do or where you do it. Most of the time this is fixable faster than people expect.
Why there is no sample grade anywhere on this page. An agency scorecard showing a glowing “A” for an unnamed happy client is a picture, not a measurement. We would rather show you an empty card and fill it in with your own site. The first number you see from us will be about you.
Next step

Get your own grade. One URL, one keyword, and the card comes back with all six lines filled in.

CARD 02What gets scored

Six lines, and a service behind every one.

Getting found starts with sound SEO, so the free test looks for the big problems standing between your site and a higher rank. Every line below is scored out of 100 on your card — and every line names the service that fixes it.

LINE 01

On-page & code structure

Testing your website for “negative SEO” code structure, then the website code change suggestions and modifications that follow from it.

CARD 03Submit a press release

Put real, published news on the record.

Line 04 of your card looks at the published mentions pointing at your business. A press release is how a small business creates one on purpose — a dated announcement, written properly, distributed, and then published where people and search engines can find it.

  • Your business name gets a dated announcement attached to it. A new location, a new service, an award, a hire, a milestone — on the record, with a date on it.
  • It gives you something to point at that isn’t your own website. A buyer checking you out finds published coverage instead of only your own marketing.
  • It creates the kind of mention Line 04 is looking for. Published mentions and citations are part of what the Authority & Citations line examines.
  • And it gives you something worth sharing. “Be Social. Be Exciting!” — a published release is a better social post than another discount.
How submission works — submit, pay, distribute, published
  1. Send us the announcementYour news in your own words, or a few bullet points and we write it. Tell us the business name, the city and the link you want it to point at.
  2. We edit it into release formatHeadline, dateline, body, boilerplate and contact block — written so an editor can run it and so it reads as news, not an advert.
  3. You approve it and payYou see the final wording before anything goes out. It goes out only after you have signed it off.
  4. It is distributed, then it lands in the archiveOnce it is published, the release is collected into our press release archive so it has a permanent home you can link to.

Every commercial detail of this product is deliberately blank. We have not been given a price, a package structure, a distribution partner or a syndication figure — so none is shown, and no media-outlet names or logos appear anywhere in this section. Writing in a plausible-looking price and a round-number syndication claim is the one thing this whole design exists not to do. Send us the real terms and this card fills in.

CARD 04Local SEO

Local SEO is more important than ever.

Local search engine optimization can be either tougher or easier depending on the local competition factor. Line 03 of the card is the local line, and these are the questions behind it — each one marked on your own listings, not on anybody else’s.

Line 03 — the local questions ALL SIX UNSCORED UNTIL YOUR SITE IS TESTED
Does your site outrank the directory listings? Right now a competitor’s business website often ranks before your local Google Maps or business listing. — / 100
Is the map listing filled in, under the right name? Lackluster companies claim a business under the wrong name, with incomplete data, filed under the wrong Google service categories. — / 100
Do the directories all show the same details? Yelp, Yellow Pages, White Pages, Foursquare, Yellowbook, Superpages and Manta all have to coincide, be complete and be verified. — / 100
Who owns your business name in search? When directories outrank you for your own name, they control your profile, not you. — / 100
Is the Facebook page for your location doing anything? A complete, proactively branded business page that brings its fans back to your business website. — / 100
What are local reviewers saying? Some things cannot be removed, but a relationship can be rebuilt and the good brought forward. — / 100

The live site publishes five offices — Los Angeles/Covina, San Diego, Las Vegas, Boca Raton and Long Island — each with its own street address and local phone number, all last updated August 2018. Confirm which offices and numbers are still current, and which address is the official one for schema, before we publish any of them. Stale NAP data actively hurts local rankings, and LocalBusiness schema pointing at a closed office is worse than no schema at all. Until you confirm, this design shows the market only. Hours are also needed for the schema.

Next step

Score your local listings first. The local line tells you whether the map pack or a directory is taking the calls you should be getting.
