For businesses selling to India's Hindi speakers, in Lucknow and Patna or in Dubai and London. We plan for searches typed in Devanagari and in Roman letters, place native Hindi articles on outlets Hindi readers follow, and point every link at a page built for them.

“Get Found has deep relationships with Hindi PR outlets, niche blog owners across the Hindi belt, influencers, and sites with real readers whose links pass value.”

  • Devanagari and Hinglish, both planned. Many Hindi speakers search in Roman letters, so your anchors and keywords reflect both.
  • The whole Hindi belt. Outlets read across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and the rest of the north.
  • Native Hindi authors. Articles written in the register each outlet uses, from formal news Hindi to everyday conversational Hindi.

Start here.

India's Hindi web is growing fastest among people who came online on a phone and often speak their searches rather than type them. The best way to build "Hindi backlinks, but better yet, backlinks for your Hindi-language site" is to contact us directly. We plan Hindi links around one fact many businesses miss: a lot of Hindi searches contain no Devanagari at all.

02Backlinks Building Service

Many Hindi searches are typed in Roman letters

Hindi is written in Devanagari, and good Hindi content should be. But a large share of Hindi speakers type Hindi words in the Latin alphabet, a mix usually called Hinglish: Hindi grammar, English loanwords, Roman letters. A buyer looking for a home loan may type होम लोन कैसे मिलेगा, or home loan kaise milega, or simply home loan in English. All three are the same person asking the same thing.

Voice search adds another layer. Phones transcribe spoken Hindi into Devanagari, so the same buyer can produce a Devanagari query by voice and a Hinglish one by thumb within the same afternoon.

  • Pages in Devanagari. The page that should rank is written in proper Hindi script, because that reads as real Hindi content to readers, editors and search engines.
  • Keywords from both. Research covers Devanagari, Hinglish and English forms of each term, so you see where demand actually sits.
  • Anchors that mirror the mix. Mostly Devanagari phrases, some Hinglish where research shows buyers use it, your brand spelled one agreed way.

The spelling problem inside Devanagari

Even in Devanagari, Hindi words are often spelled two ways. Hindi itself appears as हिंदी and as हिन्दी, one with a nasal dot and one with a half letter. Words borrowed from Persian and Arabic may be written with or without the small dot called a nukta, so ज़रूरी and जरूरी both mean necessary. Real buyers search with both forms, and a profile that only ever uses one looks thinner than the language really is. Native Hindi writers vary naturally between them, which is what a real citation pattern looks like.

Legacy fonts that search engines cannot read

Some older Hindi sites, and many PDFs and scanned notices, still use pre-Unicode fonts that display Hindi on screen but store the text as scrambled Latin characters. Search engines see gibberish. A link placed on such a page carries almost no context, and your own pages must be in Unicode Hindi, not images of text or legacy fonts, if they are to rank.

we can check your Hindi pages and your current Hindi links for spelling coverage and Unicode problems before new links are placed.

India's web is multilingual, and Hindi is one door among several

The Constitution's Eighth Schedule lists twenty-two languages, and India's internet reflects that variety. Hindi is the largest, read across the Hindi belt: Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. English is used for much business and technology searching nationwide. In the south and east, buyers often search in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali or Marathi instead.

So a Hindi page is the right target for the north, a partial one for the rest of India and the wrong one in some states. We say so plainly when it applies. Urdu deserves its own note: spoken Hindi and Urdu are close, but Urdu is written in a Perso-Arabic script, and a Hindi page will not rank for Urdu searches typed in that script.

.in, .co.in and the Devanagari .भारत

India's country domain is .in, with .co.in common for businesses and other endings such as .org.in and .net.in. There is also a Devanagari domain, .भारत, the name of the country in Hindi, though few commercial sites use it. A .in address helps Google treat a site as aimed at India and is familiar to Indian buyers.

If you run a .com, the targeting comes from the page: hreflang tags using hi-IN for Hindi and en-IN for Indian English, content that answers Indian questions, prices in rupees and, above all, links from Indian sites. Get the hreflang wrong and your English page competes with your Hindi page for the same searches. There is no tag for Hinglish, so we treat it as a keyword and anchor habit rather than a separate version of the site.

Next step

ask us to review your domain, hreflang and Hindi page structure, so links and targeting point the same way.

Your English Indian links stop at the language line

A frequent setup: a company with strong English links across Indian business media launches Hindi pages. The Hindi pages inherit some domain trust, but not one Hindi site points at them. The anchors, the referring articles and the people reading them are all English. Google sees a Hindi translation that no Hindi publisher has noticed, and the Hindi results go to competitors whose pages are cited in Hindi.

Backlinks still matter no matter the date, and this is why. Content and speed on a budget phone count, and we check them, but links are still a major indicator that a page should even be looked at, by Google and by the AI search tools that now answer many Indian questions directly. Without some really good backlinks a Hindi page will never pop up in search, will not rank and will be drowned out by the competition. They are not the only factor, but they are the one most translated sites skip.

if your Hindi pages are indexed but invisible, we will count the Hindi links pointing at them and plan the first set.

The Hindi outlets worth a link

Hindi-language newspapers are among the most widely read in India, and their websites, along with Hindi news portals, carry real readership. We keep clear of poor or spammy websites that are irrelevant to your product or service, and the Hindi web has many of those: sites built to sell posts, copied news, links to anything. The outlets worth a place are these:

  • National and regional Hindi news sites. Expert commentary and features on sites read across the Hindi belt.
  • City and state portals. Local news read in Lucknow, Patna, Jaipur, Bhopal, Indore and Kanpur, where local businesses find local buyers.
  • Niche Hindi blogs. Hindi writers on personal finance, education, careers, health, technology, farming and government schemes, a strong Hindi niche in its own right.
  • Influencers with Hindi websites. Creators whose followers read and act on their recommendations.
  • Directories and trade bodies. Indian business listings that confirm your name and location.

Get Found has deep relationships with Hindi PR outlets, niche blog owners across the Hindi belt, influencers, and sites with real readers whose links pass value. Each placement is matched to your subject, so the link makes sense to the person reading it.

How we build Hindi links with you

We study who ranks for your Hindi and Hinglish searches, agree topics with you, match each topic to a Hindi outlet whose readers care and commission a native Hindi author in that outlet's register. A direct relationship with a leading provider of Backlink Building Services gives you a large network of authors and outlets, and nobody resells the work in between. The goal is a profile that will hold its value through every Google update and any competitor's sabotage.

Hindi speakers abroad, in the Gulf, the United Kingdom, North America, Fiji, Mauritius and the Caribbean, get their own outlets when they matter to your sales. Selling in other South Asian languages? Our Bengali link building and Nepali-language backlinks pages cover them, and the Arabic backlinks page covers the Gulf states where many Indians work. The niche and language service, the budget-led link strategy page and the complete Backlink Building Services section explain the rest. When you are ready, contact us with your Hindi site.

The questions that come up every time.

Should I target Hindi in Devanagari or in Hinglish?

Usually both, for different jobs. The page itself should be in proper Devanagari Hindi, because that is what reads as serious, local content and what Hindi outlets publish. Keyword research and part of the anchor text should reflect Hinglish, because many buyers type Hindi words in Roman letters, especially on phones. We look at your actual searches before deciding the balance.

Do backlinks still matter for Hindi websites?

Yes. Links are not the only thing Google weighs, but they remain one of the strongest signs that a page is worth showing, and AI search tools lean the same way when they choose sources to quote. Many Hindi results for commercial searches are less crowded with well-linked pages than their English versions, so relevant Hindi links can make a visible difference.

Is a .in domain better than a .com for India?

A .in or .co.in address is a clear local signal and Indian buyers recognise it. A .com with Hindi and English sections can work just as well when the hreflang is correct and the links come from Indian sites. If you sell in India and abroad, a .com often makes more sense. The links have to match the targeting either way.

Can English-language Indian links help my Hindi pages?

They help the domain, and they are right for your English pages, which most Indian businesses also need. For the Hindi pages they are a weaker match, because the language, the anchors and often the readers differ. We build each language's profile from sites in that language, with English Indian outlets supporting the English side.

Do you write in other Indian languages?

This page covers Hindi. India has many major languages, and a business selling in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu or Maharashtra may need content in Bengali, Tamil or Marathi as well. We have a separate page for Bengali, and we will tell you honestly where Hindi reaches your buyers and where it does not.

How do you reach Hindi speakers outside India?

Through Hindi and Indian community sites read in the Gulf, the United Kingdom, North America, and places with long-settled communities such as Fiji, Mauritius, Trinidad and Suriname. Those readers often use English as well, so we decide per audience whether the Hindi page or an English page is the right target, and choose outlets read where they live.

Next step

Ask yours. The form reaches the people who would be doing the work.
