Press release distribution for new companies nobody has heard of yet
For founders and new businesses with a launch, a first location or a first big hire to announce, and no history online yet. We help new companies properly release their press releases in an affordable distribution model: written as news, approved by you, and published on a permanent page.
“Helping New Companies properly release their Press Releases in an affordable distribution model.”
No obligation. Tell us what you sell and where, and a person replies.
- A record before you have a reputation. A first release puts a dated, public announcement about your company on the record.
- Written as news. We turn your launch into the format an editor reads instead of an advert, and tell you honestly if it is not news yet.
- Affordable and approved first. You see the wording and the price before anything is distributed or charged.

Start here.
When a company is new, a search for its name returns its own website and very little else. A properly written press release is often the first thing about a new company published anywhere but its own site, and it should not cost hundreds of dollars or be wasted on an announcement that reads like an advert. Getting that first release right is mostly a matter of news, structure and timing.

Nobody has heard of you, which is exactly why you need a release
An established business has a trail behind it: reviews, directory listings, local news, years of mentions. A new company has a website, a few social profiles and a founder's network. When a buyer, a supplier, a landlord or an investor looks you up, that thin trail is what they judge you on.
A first release starts that trail on purpose. It puts a dated announcement under your company name, written in a format other people can publish, and gives you a permanent page to point to. It will not make you famous, but it makes you findable and shows people that the company exists.
That is a modest promise, and a first release can keep it reliably when it is done well.
if you are launching in the next few months, tell us what you are announcing and when, and we will help you decide whether it is ready to be a release.

What a release actually does for a company with no history
Most disappointment with press releases comes from expecting the wrong thing. For a new company, a release does four jobs, and only one of them is about traffic.
It is an indexable record
A published release is a page about your company, with a date, that search engines can find and keep. Years later it still says when you launched and what you set out to do. That matters when someone wants to know whether you are real and how long you have been around.
It is a citation source
Search engines and AI answers build their picture of a business from what is published about it, and they trust consistent facts that appear in more than one place. A release repeats your name, location, description and website in public. Get those right in your first release and every later mention has something to agree with.
It is a first-party announcement you control
Reviews, forum threads and news stories are written by other people. A release is your company's own statement of what happened, in the words you approved. When someone later asks "is this the same company that..." your release is the version you wrote.
It is not a traffic event
A release may bring a burst of visitors, and it may bring none. Judge it on the record it creates rather than on one week of analytics. If you need traffic this week, a release is the wrong tool, and we will say so.
if you have already sent a release that did nothing, send it to us and we will tell you whether the problem was the news, the writing or the expectation.

What makes a new company's announcement newsworthy
Companies launch every day, so "we have launched" is rarely news by itself. An editor asks one question: why would anyone outside your company care? A newsworthy first release answers that in its headline.
These are the angles that usually work for a new company:
- A problem solved for a defined group. Not "an innovative platform", but who it is for and what it fixes for them.
- A first in a place. The first of its kind in your town, county or industry niche, if it genuinely is.
- A founder with a reason. Why this person started this company, told specifically and briefly.
- A physical milestone. A first location, a warehouse, a showroom, a production run.
- A partnership or stockist. Another named business has agreed to work with you, and they are happy to be named.
- A hire, licence or certification. Someone notable joins, or you earn a qualification your customers care about.
- A date people already care about. A launch tied to a season, an event or a local occasion.
If none of these apply yet, our advice is to wait until one does. A first release with no real news in it makes the next one harder to place.
send us your launch in one sentence, and we will tell you which angle makes it news, or whether it is worth holding until you have one.

What to put in your first release
A release has a fixed shape because editors read them in a fixed order. Editors expect that structure, and it is the part new companies most often get wrong.
- Headline. The news in plain words. Leave slogans, questions and your company's tagline out of it.
- Dateline. The city and date the news comes from.
- First paragraph. Who, what, where, when and why, in two or three sentences. If a reader stops here, they should have the story.
- Body. The detail, in order of importance: what it is, who it is for, what is different, what happens next.
- A quote. One real sentence or two from the founder or a spokesperson that says something the body does not.
- Boilerplate. A short, factual paragraph about the company that you will reuse in every future release.
- Contact block. A named contact for the media and the one page the release links to.
That page matters more than most founders think. Link to the specific page about what you are announcing, not a home page, and make sure it is live, finished and says the same thing as the release.
send us your news in bullet points and we will return it in release format, ready for you to read and approve.

Timing a first release so it is not wasted
Timing matters more for a first release than for any later one. Send it too early and readers arrive at a holding page or a product they cannot buy. Send it into a week when your team cannot answer the phone and you lose the enquiries it was meant to bring.
Send it on or just after the day customers can act on the news. Make sure your website is live and the page you link to is finished. Make sure your business name, address and description match across your site, your profiles and any directory listings, because the release repeats them in public. And if your launch is tied to an event or a season, plan backwards from that date so the release is approved in good time.
After the first, plan the second. A new company that publishes a few genuine announcements across its first year, such as the launch, the first partnership, the first expansion, builds a dated trail that is hard to fake and easy to check.
tell us your launch date and we will work backwards with you so the release is written, approved and ready before the day.

The mistakes new companies make with their first release
The same few mistakes come up with first releases again and again, and each of them can be avoided.
Writing an advert
"Revolutionary", "industry-leading", "the best": words an editor deletes on sight. A release states facts and lets the reader decide. Editors treat a release that reads like a homepage as an advert.
Launching before the product or site is ready
The release goes out, interested people click, and they find a "coming soon" page. Many of those visitors will not return.
Buying the biggest package first
A new company does not need national syndication to announce a local launch. Spend on getting the release right before spending on reach. Our comparison of what the major wires charge shows how quickly per-release packages climb, and that none of them buy coverage.
Treating the release as the brand
A release announces a business; building it is separate work. The positioning, the product, the margins and the customer trust have to be there first, which is the work of brand growth strategy for founders. A release about a strong brand is easy to write, and one that tries to stand in for the brand rarely works.
Sending one release and stopping
One announcement is easy to miss. Several genuine ones across the first year give anyone checking you a dated history to read.
if you are not sure whether your draft makes any of these mistakes, send it over and we will mark it up honestly.

How our affordable model works for new companies
We built our distribution model for exactly the companies the big wires were never priced for: new, small, with real news and a modest budget. The aim is to help new companies properly release their press releases in an affordable distribution model, without paying for reach they do not need.
The process is short. You send us your announcement through the submission form. We turn it into a properly formatted release, writing from your notes or editing your draft. You read the final wording and see the price, and nothing is distributed or charged until you approve both. The release then goes out on the date you chose and is published on a permanent, dated page in our press release archive, where it stays as part of your company's public record.
Our own price per release, the distribution network and the turnaround are still being finalised, and they are marked as pending on this page until David sets them. We will not print a number we have not committed to. What we can say is that the model is built to be affordable for a company at this stage, and you can see how the rest of the market prices its per-release packages on our comparison chart.
For how this fits the rest of our press release work, including releases for established businesses and the lower rates inside our commission plan, see the affordable press release distribution overview. When your news is ready, tell us what you are announcing and we will help you get your first release right.

10Affordable Press Release Distribution
The questions that come up every time.
Is a press release worth it for a brand new company?
Yes, if you have something real to announce and you understand what it will and will not do. A first release creates an indexable, dated record of your company, gives people checking you out something to find that you did not write on your own site, and starts the trail of third-party mentions that search engines and AI answers use to understand a business. It will not, on its own, flood your site with visitors. Treat it as the first entry in your public record and judge it on that.
What counts as news for a company that has just started?
A launch on its own is rarely news, because companies launch every day. What makes it news is the specific: a problem solved for a defined group of people, a first of its kind in your area, a founder with a story behind the business, a partnership, a first location opening, a notable hire, a certification or licence, or a launch tied to a date people care about. If you cannot say in one sentence why someone outside your company should care, we will help you find the angle or tell you to wait.
When should a new company send its first release?
When the thing you are announcing actually exists and the page you link to is live. Too early and readers find a holding page or a product they cannot buy, which wastes the one chance a first release has. A good rule is to send it on or just after the day customers can act on the news, and to avoid days when your own team cannot answer the enquiries it might bring. If your launch is tied to an event or season, plan the release around that date.
What should I send you to get started?
Whatever you have. The news in your own words or a few bullet points, the date you want it to go out, the page you want it to link to, a sentence or two from the founder or a spokesperson, and a short description of the company. We put it into release format, write the headline and the boilerplate, and send it back for you to approve. You can also send a finished draft and we will edit it rather than rewrite it.
How much does your press release distribution cost?
Our price per release is being finalised, along with the distribution network and the turnaround, and it is shown as pending on this page until David sets it. What is fixed already is the model: it is built to be affordable for new companies, you see the price and the final wording before you pay, and every release is published on a permanent page in our archive. For what the rest of the market publicly charges, see our low cost comparison chart.
Will journalists pick up my release?
Maybe, and nobody can promise it. Whether a newsroom runs a story is an editorial decision, and it is not for sale. A well written release about something genuinely new gives you the best chance, and it still does its main job if nobody picks it up: your announcement is on the record, dated, published and linkable. Be wary of anyone who guarantees coverage for a fee, and ask exactly what they mean by it.
Ask yours. The form reaches the people who would be doing the work.
