Thai Backlinks From Thai Sites, Written in Thai
For businesses that want Thai buyers to find them on Google. We place articles by native Thai writers on outlets Thai readers already visit, wrap each link around a phrase that reads naturally in Thai script, and point it at the Thai page that should rank.
“In Thai, an anchor has to follow where the words actually break.”
No obligation. Tell us what you sell and where, and a person replies.
- Anchors that end where Thai words end. Thai runs words together, so links are placed by writers who know where a phrase begins and ends.
- Outlets read in Thailand. National news, provincial sites, niche blogs and directories with Thai readers, not link farms in Thai clothing.
- The address and targeting checked too. A .co.th domain or a .com with clean hreflang, so the links and the setup point the same way.

Thailand's web is written in a script with no gaps between words, read mostly on phones and searched mostly on Google. The best way to build "Thai backlinks, but better yet, backlinks for your Thai-language site" is to contact us directly. Our Thai plans start with how Thai sentences break into words, because that decides where an anchor can sit.

Thai runs words together, so links need writers who know where words end
Written Thai puts no spaces between words. Spaces do appear, but they mark the end of a phrase or a sentence, roughly where English uses a comma or a full stop. Vowels sit above, below, before and after their consonants, and tone marks stack on top. Thai readers handle this without effort, but software, and anyone writing anchor text from a keyword spreadsheet, can easily get it wrong.
Search engines split Thai text into words using dictionaries and statistics, and they mostly get it right. A link wrapped around half a word, or a keyword dropped into a sentence where it breaks a compound, reads as a mistake to a Thai reader and hands the search engine a muddled phrase. Take ร้านอาหาร, a restaurant: it is ร้าน, a shop, plus อาหาร, food. Link only the second half inside a longer phrase and the anchor now says "food", not "restaurant".
- Anchors that follow meaning. Native Thai writers place each link around a natural unit of sense, the way an editor would, not around a string matched by a tool.
- One Thai spelling of your brand. Foreign names are transliterated into Thai in more than one way. We agree a Thai form and an English form with you and keep both consistent.
- Dates and numbers that look local. Thailand counts years in the Buddhist era, five hundred and forty-three years ahead of the Western calendar, and Thai readers notice content that only uses Western years.
send us the Thai phrases you want to rank for, and we will show you how a native writer would anchor each one.

Google answers Thai searches, and links still sort the results
Google is the main search engine in Thailand by a wide margin. LINE, Facebook and YouTube shape what Thais read and share, and long-running Thai web forums still surface when people ask which product to buy. But when a buyer types a question, Google decides whose page appears first.
Backlinks still matter no matter the date. Speed on a phone, clear Thai content and a sensible site structure count as well, and we look at all of them. But without some really good backlinks a Thai page will never pop up in search, will not rank and will be drowned out by the competition that has them. Links are not the only factor. They remain a major indicator that a website should even be looked at, by Google and by AI search tools such as Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT search and Perplexity, which tend to quote pages other sites already cite.
This can work in your favour. In many Thai commercial searches, the pages ranking have few strong Thai links between them, so a well-chosen set of Thai placements can carry a page further than the same effort would in English.
tell us the Thai searches that matter to your sales, and we will show you what the pages winning them have behind them.

.th, .co.th and the Thai-script .ไทย
Thailand's country domain is .th. Most businesses use .co.th, which is generally reserved for companies registered in Thailand and asks for documents to prove it. Other endings include .in.th for general use, .or.th for organisations, .ac.th for universities and .go.th for government. A Thai-script domain, .ไทย, also exists, though few commercial sites use it.
A .co.th address tells Thai buyers they are dealing with a real local business, and it tells Google the site is aimed at Thailand. A .com with a Thai section can work just as well, but then the targeting has to come from elsewhere: Thai content, hreflang tags using th or th-TH, and links from sites Thai readers visit.
Thai letters in the address bar
Thai characters are legal in URLs and browsers show them properly. Copy one into an email or a chat, though, and it often turns into a long string of percent signs and codes. Many Thai sites keep the page in Thai and the slug in English or romanised Thai. Either rule works across a whole site. Mixing them page by page does not, and we check slugs before pointing links at them.
ask us to review your domain, slugs and hreflang alongside your links, so every Thai link lands on a page Google can place in Thailand.

How Thai buyers really type a search
Keyword research in Thai has to start from how people type, not from a translated list of English terms.
- Thai script for most questions. Buyers ask in Thai, often as a full question, such as which model is best or where to buy near a district.
- English inside Thai searches. Brand names, model numbers and technical terms are usually typed in English letters in the middle of a Thai phrase, as in iPhone รุ่นไหนดี, which asks which iPhone model is good.
- Romanised Thai in names, rarely in questions. Place names and brands written in Latin letters vary from one spelling to the next, so the same district can appear three ways in English.
- The keyboard slip. Thai and English share one keyboard, and a search typed before switching layouts comes out as nonsense. It shows up in search data, and we read the data with that in mind.
So the anchor mix on a Thai profile is mostly Thai phrases, some mixed Thai and English, your brand in both forms and a share of plain addresses. That is how Thai pages cite each other naturally.
we can check whether your buyers search in Thai, in English or in a mix of both before you commit content to one.

Why a translated Thai page with English links stays on page five
The pattern is familiar. A hotel group, a software company or a manufacturer adds Thai pages to a well-known English site. The domain has strong links, but every one of them is English, written for English readers on English sites. No Thai site mentions the Thai pages. To Google that looks like a translation nobody in Thailand asked for, and Thai competitors with Thai links stay ahead.
Thailand also has a twist that many markets do not. Hotels, clinics, schools and property firms often serve two audiences at once: international visitors searching in English and Thai customers searching in Thai. They need two link profiles. An English travel blog that sends tourists to your English page does nothing for the Thai page that domestic travellers will search for, and the reverse is just as true.
if your Thai pages have been live for months without moving, we will count the Thai links pointing at them and plan the first ones.

Thai outlets that pass real value
Spam sites and Thai sites unrelated to your business get none of our articles. Thai link selling includes plenty of sites built only to carry paid posts: no readers, rewritten articles, links to anything. They are cheap for a reason, and they are the first thing a Google update removes. We work instead with Thai press contacts, niche bloggers, influencers and sites with readers who really visit.
| Outlet type | What it gives a Thai page |
|---|---|
| National Thai news sites | Authority and reach, for expert commentary and features |
| Provincial and city sites | Local relevance in Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Hat Yai, Phuket and beyond |
| Niche Thai blogs and review sites | Topical relevance in food, beauty, technology, travel, parenting and finance |
| Influencers with their own websites | Readers who follow a personality and act on recommendations |
| Directories and trade associations | Confirmation of your name, location and line of business |
tell us your industry and region, and we will tell you which of these outlet types suit it.

How we build Thai links with you
We study who ranks for your Thai searches and who links to them, agree topics that suit both your pages and the outlets, and commission native Thai writers who match each outlet's register, from formal business news to an easygoing lifestyle blog. We put each link inside an article Thai readers would choose to read anyway, which is how a Thai profile gets through Google updates and a rival's sabotage intact.
Behind that sits a large network of authors and outlets, which you reach by working directly with a leading provider of Backlink Building Services rather than through a reseller. Where you also sell to Thai communities abroad, in the United States, Australia or Europe, we plan their community sites as a separate audience.
If you sell across the region, our Vietnamese link building page, our backlinks for Malay-language sites and our Indonesian backlinks cover the neighbours. The language and niche link service lists every market, the page on matching strategy to budget explains how we plan spend, and the Backlink Building Services overview shows the whole category. When you are ready, send us your Thai site and target searches.

The questions that come up every time.
Do backlinks still matter for Thai websites?
Yes. Google weighs more than links, and links cannot save a thin Thai page. Still, Thai links are among the strongest reasons a page gets shown at all, to Google and to AI search tools that quote a handful of sources. In many Thai commercial searches the pages ranking have few strong Thai links, so the right ones can move a page further than the same effort in English.
Should my Thai site use a .co.th domain?
If you are a company registered in Thailand and Thailand is your main market, a .co.th address is a clear local signal and Thai buyers recognise it. It needs registration paperwork. If you sell in several countries, a .com with a Thai section, correct hreflang and links from Thai sites can serve you just as well. What matters most is that the targeting and the links agree.
Can Thai characters go in my URLs?
They can, and browsers display them, but when a Thai URL is copied into email, chat or a document it often turns into a long string of percent signs and codes. Many Thai sites therefore use short English or romanised slugs while writing the page itself in Thai. Either choice works if it is applied across the whole site. We check the slugs before we point links at them.
Why does my translated Thai page not rank when my English site does?
Because nothing on the Thai web vouches for it. Your English links tell Google the domain is trusted in English. They say nothing about whether Thai readers find the Thai page useful. A Thai page that Thai news sites, blogs and directories link to looks like part of the Thai web, and that is the version Google ranks for Thai searches.
Who writes the Thai articles?
Native Thai writers who read the outlets they write for and match each one's register, from a formal business site to a relaxed lifestyle blog. Machine-translated Thai is easy to spot, with odd word choices and broken phrasing, and good Thai editors turn it down. Each article is written to be worth reading without the link, which is what keeps it published.
Do you build links for Thai communities outside Thailand?
Yes, where the business sells to them. Thai communities in the United States, Australia and Europe read Thai-language community sites and diaspora news, and those outlets suit restaurants, grocers, travel agents, remittance services and schools. We plan them as a separate audience with their own outlets and, where needed, their own pages.
Ask yours. The form reaches the people who would be doing the work.
