Turkish Backlinks for Turkey and Turkish Speakers Abroad
For businesses with a Turkish-language site, or a brand reaching Turkish speakers in Turkey and across Europe, that needs Turkish searchers to find it. Our native authors write for Turkish outlets with real readers, and every link points at the Turkish page it is meant to lift.
“Turkish is searched from Istanbul to Cologne, and the links have to reach both.”
No obligation. Tell us what you sell and where, and a person replies.
- Two i's, handled right. Anchors, slugs and headings that keep ı and İ apart, the way Turkish readers expect.
- Turkey and the Turkish diaspora. Links planned for readers in Istanbul and Izmir, and for Turkish speakers in Germany, the Netherlands and Austria.
- Turkish outlets with Turkish readers. National news, city papers, niche blogs and community sites, never link lists.

The best way to build "Turkish backlinks, but better yet, backlinks for your Turkish-language pages" is to contact us directly. Turkish is searched by people in Istanbul, in Anatolian cities and in Turkish neighbourhoods of Berlin and Rotterdam, and a Turkish link profile has to reach the readers you actually sell to. Often that means planning for more than one country.

Turkish is searched from more than one country
Most Turkish searches come from Turkey, and Google is the engine most of them use. Yandex has offered a Turkish service for years and keeps a following, but the plan starts with Google and with the AI answers on top of it: AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Perplexity all answer in Turkish.
Then there are the Turkish speakers outside Turkey. Large Turkish communities live in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, France and Belgium, and many of them search in Turkish as readily as in the local language. They read Turkish-language news and community sites aimed at them, pay in euros and expect local delivery. A page written for buyers in Ankara does not always serve a buyer in Cologne.
- Turkey. Turkish pages on a .com.tr or a Turkish folder, marked tr or tr-TR, with links from Turkish outlets.
- Turkish speakers in Germany. Pages marked tr-DE, euro prices and German delivery, with links from the Turkish-language media they read.
- The Netherlands and Austria. The same approach with tr-NL and tr-AT where the offer differs.
- Northern Cyprus and the Balkans. Smaller Turkish-speaking audiences that usually share the Turkey pages.
tell us where your Turkish-speaking customers live and we will say whether they need one Turkish version or several.

The dotless ı and the letters that break Turkish links
Turkish has a letter pair English does not: the dotted i, whose capital is İ, and the dotless ı, whose capital is I. Software that changes case the English way gets Turkish wrong, turning İstanbul into Istanbul or lowercasing a word into one that means something else. It happens in slug generators, navigation menus, email subjects and headings set in capitals.
Then come ç, ğ, ö, ş and ü. The visible text and the anchors need every one of them in place; a Turkish anchor without them reads as foreign or careless. Addresses are different: most Turkish sites convert these letters to plain ones in slugs, so ş becomes s and ğ becomes g, because a URL with Turkish characters turns into a long encoded string when it is pasted into a message. What matters is one consistent rule.
Suffixes, apostrophes and brand names
Turkish attaches meaning to the end of words, and when the word is a proper noun it does so after an apostrophe: İstanbul'da, Türkiye'nin, and your brand name followed by an apostrophe and an ending. Natural Turkish anchors carry these endings. A profile where every anchor is the bare brand or a bare keyword looks like what it is, a list rather than coverage.
send us your Turkish slugs and a few headings, and we will check whether your platform handles ı, İ and the rest correctly.

Many Turkish searches are typed without Turkish letters
People searching on foreign keyboards, older phones or in a hurry often type Turkish without its special letters: s for ş, c for ç, i for ı. Google matches most of these to the correct forms, so you do not need misspelled anchors to catch them. What you need is correct Turkish on the page and links from Turkish sites that Google already trusts for the topic.
Many translated sites miss this. Whatever year it is, links are still how Google and the AI answers decide which sites deserve a look before they weigh anything else. They are not the whole story, but a page without them rarely gets far enough for the rest of the story to matter. A translated Turkish page carrying an English site's links has no Turkish sources behind it, and Turkish searches are answered with Turkish pages that Turkish publishers cite. Without some really good Turkish links, the page will not rank, and Turkish competitors with years of Turkish coverage will bury it.
if your Turkish pages are indexed but invisible, we will compare their links with those of the Turkish competitors above them.

.com.tr, .tr and the address Turkish buyers trust
Turkey's country domain is .tr, and .com.tr has long been the standard address for a Turkish business. Turkish buyers read it as a sign of a company with a presence in Turkey. A foreign brand can rank from a Turkish folder or subdomain of its main site, as long as hreflang is correct and the page is plainly written for Turkey: lira prices, Turkish delivery and Turkish-language support.
The links have to fit whichever structure you pick. If the Turkish links all land on your English home page, the Turkish folder deeper in the site gains little from them. We aim each Turkish link at the Turkish page it is meant to lift, and we keep Turkey pages and diaspora pages apart so they do not compete.
tell us how your Turkish pages are set up today and we will tell you whether the links you build should change it.

Turkish outlets, from national dailies to city papers
The Turkish web is large and loud. National newspapers and broadcasters run big news sites, most of them based in Istanbul, and local news sites cover cities such as Ankara, İzmir, Bursa, Antalya and Konya for readers who care what happens nearby. Specialist magazines and niche blogs cover cars, food, travel, technology, parenting and finance. Community sites, including the collaborative dictionary-style sites Turkish readers use as forums, carry real weight in some topics. Directories and trade associations round it out.
The Turkish web also has more than its share of link sellers with no readers. We avoid them, along with any site that has nothing to do with what you sell. Our Turkish placements come through press contacts, niche bloggers, influencers and sites that Turkish readers actually visit, and the articles on them are written by native Turkish authors for those sites' readers. Built that way, a Turkish profile can ride out Google's updates and a competitor's attempts to sink it.
tell us your industry and the Turkish cities you sell in, and we will describe the kinds of outlets that reach those readers.

Turkish links sit next to their neighbours
Turkish is closely related to Azerbaijani, and readers of each can follow much of the other, but search engines treat them as separate languages and Azerbaijani readers notice Turkish spellings at once. Our page on Azerbaijani-language link building explains the difference. Businesses selling around the Aegean and the Black Sea often run Turkish alongside Greek backlinks or Bulgarian link building, and each needs its own outlets and its own native writers.
if you sell in Turkey and a neighbouring market from one site, we will map which pages need which links.

How Get Found builds Turkish backlinks
Get Found's large network of authors and outlets, Turkish writers included, is open to you by working directly with a leading provider of Backlink Building Services rather than through a reseller. We start with your Turkish pages, how your platform handles Turkish letters, your hreflang, and the links behind the Turkish competitors above you. Then we agree the pages that need links first, the kinds of outlets, the topics and the anchors, and our authors write.
The size and order of the campaign come from the budget planning on our backlink company page. Turkish runs alongside the other languages and the industry campaigns on our backlinks building service, and the backlink building services category page ties them together. When you are ready, tell us about your Turkish site and where your Turkish-speaking buyers live.

What we would measure for your business.
The parts of this page we will not guess at.
The live site has never published a price for anything. Rather than invent a plausible-looking number, each item is here and blank until it is set.
Get these lines filled in for your business. It takes what you sell, where, and your site.

The questions that come up every time.
What is the Turkish i problem?
Turkish has two separate letters where English has one: a dotted i, whose capital is İ, and a dotless ı, whose capital is I. Software that changes case the English way turns İstanbul into Istanbul and lowercases words into spellings that mean something else or nothing. It shows up in slugs, headings, menus and email subjects. We check that your pages, our articles and our anchors keep the two letters apart.
Should Turkish URLs keep ç, ğ, ı, ö, ş and ü?
Most Turkish sites convert them to plain letters in the slug, so ş becomes s and ı becomes i, because an address with Turkish characters turns into a long encoded string when pasted. That is fine, as long as the conversion is consistent and the visible text keeps correct Turkish. Many Turkish searchers type without these letters anyway, and Google matches both forms.
Do I need separate pages for Turkish speakers in Germany?
If you sell to them, often yes. They search in Turkish, pay in euros and expect German delivery, terms and support. Pages marked tr-DE in hreflang, with links from the Turkish-language media and community sites they read, will serve them better than a page written for Turkey. If you only sell in Turkey, one Turkish version is enough.
Is Yandex important for Turkish search?
Yandex has offered a Turkish search service for years, but Google is the engine Turkish searchers use for most queries, and AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Perplexity now answer Turkish questions on top of it. We plan Turkish link building for Google and AI search first. The links that count there are Turkish sites with Turkish readers, and they would count on any engine.
Can English articles be translated into Turkish for the placements?
We do not do that. Turkish builds words with long chains of suffixes and puts the verb at the end, so translated copy reads stiffly and editors notice in the opening lines. Every Turkish article we place is written by a native Turkish author for that outlet's readers, to a brief you approve.
Why does my Turkish site not rank when my English site does?
Because its authority comes from English links. Search engines answer Turkish searches with Turkish pages that Turkish publishers, writers and communities cite. A translation inherits the words of your English site, not its standing. Until Turkish sources link to the Turkish pages, they compete against Turkish companies that have years of Turkish coverage behind them.
Ask yours. The form reaches the people who would be doing the work.
